Phone reservations may be made easily, quickly through the local PSA reservation office or from any one of a thousand travel agents. ...a year or so ago, our business grew so large that we could no longer handle telephone reservations in the usual manner, so we installed a new electronic system, using specially designed telephone equipment. PSA's 115 reservation girls handle almost 6000 calls per day (an avergae of 350 calls per hour) on 50 incoming lines. When all lines are busy, you are so advised. Calls waiting are automatically "stacked" in sequence so that you get the first available receptionist. Peak calling periods are nine to eleven a.m. and four to six p.m. To speed service, you might prefer to call PSA during off-peak hours. |

at PSA counters. Our job is to make sure that each receives courteous,
friendly, efficient attention. When checking in, all counter positions
are available, regardless of flight number. This new, direct check-in
system eliminates long waiting in line and cuts check-in time in half.
In front of the counter an alert passenger agent stands ready to assist
you.
PSA service also means prompt departures and arrivals. Last year, our flights arrived and departed on schedule 94.6 percent of the time - a national record! To maintain this dependable schedule, we ask that you check in at least 30 minutes before flight time. (We've even been known to leave the President of the airline behind!...that's how important prompt departure is to us.) |

Each PSA captain has flown more than 15,000 hours and hold not only FederalAviation Agency licenses as Commercial and Instrument Pilots, but FAA Air Transport Ratings as well. Flight crews keep abreast of late developments through continuous, year-round training. Each captain, first officer, and flight engineer must pass stringent physical and technical examinations at periodic intervals. PSA Lockheed Super Electra Jets are equipped with all-weather radar, DME (Distance Measuring Equipment) and transponders (the latest electronic navigational and identification gear) to speed your flight. |

You may reconfirm at the PSA counter when you arrive at the airport, or simply dial the telephone number on your ticket envelope. In order to guarantee space, we ask that you reconfirm at least 6 hours before the flight time. For more than 13 years, PSA has provided the finest and most economical air service in California.
